About

I like knowing how all of it works.

One person, one bench, and a stubborn refusal to buy something I could build instead.

technology enthusiast

A short intro.

I'm Mike, based in North Georgia. I've been taking things apart and putting them back together — usually better — for as long as I can remember.

FPV drones are where all of it came together. Building a quad means CAD, soldering, radio, tuning, repair and flying — I went deep on every part of it, and a good amount of that work is on this site.

The same skills spread out from there: RC cars, a printer that runs most days, a homelab that has gotten out of hand. Different projects, same bench.

certified drone operator

Certified, insured, and careful about it.

I hold an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate and carry commercial liability insurance for aerial work.

Flying close to people and property is where the risk sits, so a job gets done properly: site scouted, flight path planned, everyone in the frame briefed, conservative margins around talent and gear. Airspace authorizations and certificates of insurance are part of the job, not an upcharge.

If a shot isn't safe, I'll say so before we're on the clock and propose one that gets you the same feeling.
