A bench built from 2x4s and plywood, fitted out with power, light, a soldering station, a print station and a wall of tools. It's 99% done, and it changes every time a new kind of project shows up.

Every print, repair and rack build on this site starts here. I framed it and topped it myself, then kept building onto it until each kind of work had its own place to happen.
What's built in
Four stations, one bench.
Power and lighting, built in
Outlets where the tools plug in and light over the work surface, so nothing runs off an extension cord across the floor and nothing gets worked on in its own shadow.

Soldering and electronics
Wiring, soldering and repair get their own station, set up and ready, so a ten-minute fix stays a ten-minute fix instead of a half hour of clearing space first.

3D printer station
The printer lives on the bench, close enough to pull a part the moment it finishes and test-fit it on whatever it was designed for.

Tool wall and storage
Tools on the wall, parts in bins. If I can see it I can find it, and if I can find it the project keeps moving.
